Here at Steve Coster Fitness we do our Fitness Holidays differently. Our focus is on high intensity training that is enjoyable, mixed with a healthy eating program that you can easily maintain when you go home. We take some measurements on arrival so you can see your improvements.
Hvilke timer træner vi? Vil jeg få noget fritid?
Most of our clients arrive here in sunny Tenerife for their Fitness Holidays on either Saturday or Sunday. Whatever day you arrive you will have the weekend to relax. There is a swimming pool at the accommodation or the beach is just a 10 minutes walk away. Training starts Monday morning 07:30. The program runs Monday to Friday with 3 to 5 sessions per day including yoga classes, which will work your full body and calm your mind. If you are looking for a specific variation of workout we can offer you personal training with our professional fitness instructors at an additional cost. Each day you will finish by 13:00 or 14:00 at the latest. This means you have all afternoon as downtime or for the hardcore elite this is when we can provide you with personal training classes or additional stretching sessions. In your downtime you can sunbathe, enjoy some of Tenerife’s spectacular excursions, go shopping or just sleep! More info on local trips, excursions, massages & Spa treatments is available on request. Or if you are a Digital Nomad or an online worker our Fitness Holidays would be perfect for you as you can train in the morning and work in the afternoon.
Fitness Holidays Daily Training Schedule
Strand Bootcamp
Meet like-minded individuals out in the fresh air on the beautiful beaches of south Tenerife. The first daily class of your Fitness Holiday is High Intensity Interval Training which guarantees a full body workout. After a ten-minute warm-up to gently get the body moving, we start our fitness routine using bodyweight exercises. Such as squats, press ups, lunges, mountain climbers and burpees, all of which are designed to push your heart rate up to a fat-burning level. These are group fitness classes which also have the added benefit of creating great camaraderie in a fun, light-hearted environment. This beach class is a great way to kick-start your day with like-minded people. Friday morning is our most popular of all the fitness classes as it’s Navy Seals Training in the ocean.
Pudearbejde
One of the most popular classes in our Fitness Holidays. These are gym based classes, offering a mixture of High Intensity Interval Training and fight based boxing / kick boxing style sessions. Generally the work is done with a partner, you will learn all different types of striking and posture. This is designed to give you better body awareness, and more confidence to deal with an attack situation. This style of training also helps to improve your fitness levels and general wellbeing. You will learn combinations from fighting styles such as different punches and how to use your elbows and knees, you will also learn how to move the pads for your partner giving you better focus and coordination.
Krav Maga
Krav Maga is a self defence system, designed and used by the Israeli Military. It is made up of the most effective points of various fighting styles from all around the world. The concept is to teach people how to deal with violent attacks in a variety of circumstances and to do the maximum damage in the minimum time. These classes start with a 15 minute full body warm up given by our expert team of instructors, to create core strength and improved fitness levels. You do not have to be super fit to do this kind of training, but over time it will greatly improve your fitness levels. You will learn to deal with situations such as street attacks, grabs and strangles, various weapon attacks such as knives, bottles and sticks. You will also learn how to put this training into real life situations during sparring sessions and ground fighting scenarios. This training will give you increased confidence to deal with violent situations should they ever arise in your every day life. Krav Maga sessions surprise so many of our clients on the Fitness Holidays…….a lot of people who think this kind of thing is not for them end up loving it!!
Kredsløb
Vores fitnessinstruktører vil designe forskellige kredsløb, så du får trænet hele kroppen. Det er intervaltræning med høj intensitet, hvor vi bruger frie vægte, kettle bells, medicinbolde, TRX og battle ropes til at give dig et fantastisk udvalg af fitnesstimer. Et typisk eksempel er 30 sekunder på en station ved maksimal hastighed med 15 sekunders pause, før man går videre til næste station. Denne form for fitnessrutine har vist sig at være yderst gavnlig, ikke kun for dit fysiske helbred, men også for dit mentale velbefindende. I løbet af timen laver vi også en masse mavearbejde, f.eks. forskellige former for mavebøjninger, for at styrke vores core.
Stretching Classes
We offer Stretching Sessions on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in the gym. Paolo will help you stretch off and release the tensions following your high intensity training from your Fitness Holiday. This is a great way to relax the mind and body and help give you balance. These two sessions are suitable for people of any ability and with any type of injury and can be adapted to suit every client. This is a gentle form of exercise to allow you to relax and recouperate after all of the High Intensity Interval Training that you will have completed during your fitness classes every day. We offer yoga mats so it is not necessary to bring your own, this is done in a quiet relaxing comfortable environment.

At have en privat lejlighed giver dig den plads, du har brug for til at slappe af efter dine fitnesstimer. Du kan selv bestemme, hvornår du vil spise, sove eller bare slappe af.
It’s great to be part of a group for training and socialising but during these Fitness Holidays it’s also important to have some time to yourself to reflect and recharge. Please note the apartment is only booked for the clients on the reservation, it is not permitted to bring guests without prior arrangement as additional fees are due.
Alle de rummelige lejligheder har en komfortabel stue med fladskærms-tv med satellitkanaler. Der er et separat soveværelse og et moderne køkken-alrum med ovn, kedel og mikroovn.. Each apartment also has WIFI and a washing machine. Please note that there is no maid service and you are responsible for keeping the apartment clean and tidy and disposing of any rubbish.

Leanne is a very experienced Chef who has experience running a restaurant. She will prepare lunch & dinner and deliver it boxed up to the gym each day so you can eat as and when it suits you.
Vores kok vil tilberede en bred vifte af måltider såsom sunde karryretter, velsmagende salater, fiske- og kødretter, herunder vegetariske og veganske muligheder. Hvis du har fødevareallergier eller intolerancer, bedes du give os besked på forhånd, så vi kan tage højde for eventuelle kostbehov.

What do I need to bring on my Fitness Holiday?
Medbring en vandflaske, passende træningsudstyr såsom kondisko, et par shorts, sports-bh'er til pigerne og træningstoppe. Vi anbefaler, at du også medbringer et håndklæde, som du kan tage med i fitnesscentret.
Hvilken lufthavn henter du fra?
Included in the price of your fitness holiday is collection and drop off at Tenerife South Airport. We use local Transfer companies to do all of our pick up and drop offs.
